Deux North - “The first thing we noticed about Chase Roselli’s art was the way his organic lines seemed be growing from one side of the frame to the other. With a closer look, we saw the subtle texture in each line, rooting it to the canvas. There’s an order to Chase’s work. And while neatly placed negative space might translate as mechanical in lesser hands, Chase’s compositions feel more like patterns of the natural world—those that reveal themselves if we take the time to slow down and look. To sit and appreciate Chase’s work is akin to sitting on the beach, at the cliff, or among the mountains. It was our experience of Chase’s work that drove us to create a collaboration that would translate his art into an object that could be taken out into nature, letting the patterns brighten in the sun, sink in sweat, and stretch along with every pedal stroke.”
